Areas of Concentration
- Health Sciences and Human Physiology.
The project aims to develop basic and clinical research in various areas of health and to train qualified human resources for higher education teaching, research, and to meet the professional demand of public and private sectors.
Research Lines
The program is structured around four distinct research lines:
I – Public Health (Epidemiology)
Focuses on professionals interested in developing research projects and public health programs based on the state of the art in scientific knowledge. The aim is to create tools to understand the health-disease process, analyze the results obtained, and formulate policies to intervene in the lives of communities.
II – Nutrition in Public Health
Aims at training human resources for teaching and research, both basic/experimental and applied, as well as for work in public policies on food and nutrition.
